The increasing number of natural hazards in the last couple of decades around the globe requires the understanding and the investigation of the natural perils and the development of new ideas and innovative methods for providing knowledge, managing the disasters, and mitigating the loss.
Kahramanmaraş earthquakes on the 6th of February in 2023 force us to have a better understanding of the disaster, management, recovery and preparedness phases.
Following a decision by the ISHAD Organizing Committe, International Symposium on Natural Hazards and Disaster Management will henceforth be held biennialy. Accordingly, the 8th International Symposium on Natural Hazards and Disaster Management will be held in 2027. The symposium dates, paper submission process and other announcements will be be shared on our website in due course.
The symposium aims at connecting academicians, experts, bureaucrats, administrators, institutions, students, local governments, and non-governmental organizations to facilitate the exchange of ideas on topics of mutual interest and to serve as a platform for connecting the stakeholders.

Selected articles can be published in the "Academic Platform Journal of Natural Hazards and Disaster Management (APJHAD)" and "Journal of Innovative Science and Engineering", which is currently being indexed in TR-Index. We would like to remind you that the papers to be selected for the "Journal of Innovative Science and Engineering" must provide at least 50% new material according to the conference paper and will be reviewed according to the Journal policy.
